As previously mentioned, I am a former model for Winston cigarettes and Tiparillo cigars. I am also a two-time survivor of Lung Cancer, as well as open heart surgery, emphysema, reconstructed vocal cords and nerve damage. With this background I chose to come forward in support of a tobacco-free world in the interest of protecting the lives of children and future generations.

I am working now to speak out against tobacco marketing to children and working to hold the tobacco industry accountable and liable for causing addiction and disease in smokers. I support regulating tobacco products and nicotine as a drug. I am now a spokesman for the World Health Organization.

My work includes educating children as well as the adult public about what being a Winston Man model really meant - how it was designed by my employers to glamorize tobacco use, create the cool illusion and downplay health concerns. I came forward to help expose the truth about tobacco as opposed to the lie.

Part of the truth is that I, like too many others, live from x-ray to x-ray. I wish to help others avoid the same fate. I am available for public speaking engagements.
